Research progress on the sensitizer of liquid-junction solar cell

The liquid-junction solar cell is a device of converting solar energy into electric energy with the sensitized nano-particle semiconductor, which has low-cost and high-efficiency advantages. The structure and operating principle of liquid-junction solar cell were described, with emphasis on the review of the variety and function of the sensitizer as well as the sensitized approach on the electrode. Some opinions on further studies of liquid-junction solar cell were also presented.
