Development of two-phase transmission in the direct methanol fuel cell

The development of two-phase flow in DMFC from visualization study and mathematic model study was reviewed to reveal two-phase flow and its influence on the performance of direct methanol fuel cell(DMFC).The development of visualization was introduced from anode and cathode,while the modeling research from flow field model,diffusion layer model,catalyst layer model and proton exchange membrane model.The results show that the visualization study in cathode is necessary,and it can improve the model development when mathematic model is studied together with experiments.
