Voltage detecting and error analysis of lithium iron phosphate power batteries

Lithium iron phosphate(LiFePO4) power battery must be connected in series to meet the demand of electric vehicle.In order to avoid some batteries overcharge and overdischarge,and extend the cycle life of batteries,the single battery voltage and other parameters must be detected,and state of charge must be estimated.A simple,low cost,and reliable voltage detection method was described in this paper,the battery voltage detection errors were analyzed,and the corresponding improved method to reduce the errors was proposed.The experimental results show the new battery voltage detection methods can improve the accuracy and validity,and achieve good results in practical applications.
