Influence and measures of connection of wind power with power grid on dynamic frequency process in power system

The large-scale connection of wind power with power grid change the previous system power structure and affect the dynamic frequency process in power system. The influence of different types of wind turbines and wind power grid size on the dynamic frequency process was studied, and the frequency response characteristics of wind turbines and their rules were revealed. The wind power part of the active power output was reduced by controlling the pitch angle to set aside part of active output as the spinning reserve in system and solving the large-scale wind power grid for the threat of power system frequency stability fundamentally. It is revealed that wind power spare supply time is very important by simulating and analyzing the method and result of frequency dynamic process of stroke electric standby supplies.
