The Flow Stress of Casting AZ31B Magnesium Alloy in High Compressed Contition

SUN Futao, CHEN Fuxiao, GUO Junqing, HAN Chen (Henan University of Technology, Luoyang 471003, Henan China)  
The deformation law of casting AZ31B magnesium alloy during temperature 280℃-440℃ and stain rate 0.001S-1~0.1S-1 has been investigated on Gleeble-1500 simulation equipment.The results indicates:Casting AZ31B exhibites low flow stress at high temperatures, and its flow stress curve showes the character of DXR(dynamic recrystallisation).The flow stress behavior of AZ31B alloy during high emperature deformation can be represented by a Zener-Hollomon parameter in the hyperbolic Arrhenius-typeequation.Meanwhile,A,α,and n in the analytical expressions ofσare fitted to be 7.59×109s -1,0.015MPa -1,and 4.91 respectively.The activation energy is 141.6kJ/mol.
