Research on Meta-dynamic Recrystallization of 316LN Austenitic Stainless Steel

The two-pass hot compression tests of 316LN austenitic stainless steel have been carried out by means of Gleeble-1500D thermo-mechanical simulator at temperatures of 1050℃-1150℃ and strain rates of 0.005s-1-0.1s-1.Meta-dynamic recrystallization at different temperatures and strain rates of 316LN steel has been investigated.The results show that the soften degree of 316LN steel increases with increase ofintervals between twopass deformations.And the softening fractions rapidly increase with increase of deformation temperatures and strain rates.Based on the hot compressed experimental results,the kinetic equations and the grain size evolution equation during meta-dynamic recrystallization processes have been proposed for predicting grain size during hot deformation of 316LN austenitic stainless steel.
