Advances in Identification and Detection of Brucella

This paper reviewed the methods of identification and detection of brucella,the important pathogens that infect varieties of livestock ,wildlife and humans. The methods of identification and detection of brucella mainly include serological identification, homologous assays, DNA fingerprinting,PCR assays, nucleotide sequence, and nucleotide hybridization. It is expected that the quick,exact and special method for identification and defection of brucella could be realised with the development of molecular biology.
