Enzootic bovine leukemia is a virus disease caused by bovine leukemia virus (BLV). BLV is a member of the genus of Deltaretrovirus of the Retroviridae. There are some of glycoproteins (gp) in the envelope and some of phosphorproteins (p) in the core. It had been thought that gp51 and p24 had high immune activity that could be used in special serological diagnosis in clinic. BLV may transmit through vertical and horizontal methods. There are a lot of ways in the horizontal transmission, they are blood transmission, secretory transmission, contactant transmission, parasitical transmission, spermatic transmission, lactic transmission, supervisory transmission and so on.
