Design and development of virtual signal measurer

The paper introduces the process of design and development of the virtual signal measurer based on LabVIEW ,and carried on the successful examination.The main function of the virtual signal measurer has two parts,Surveying the electrical signal(such as voltage)and the non-electric signal(such as temperature).Not only the screen of the electrical signal partial can display the signal it gathered distinctly,but also the measurer can obtain the direct component,the standard frequency,the peak value,the mean value and the effective value of the signal by processing with the corresponding function modules.Adjusting the parameters of the signal,the waveform and the data will be changed accordingly.In addition,the instrument can give an alarm when the peak value of the signal surpasses the measuring range.The screen of the non-electric signal part displays the historical tendency of the signal with a waveform according to the time order,and we can also obtain the maximal value,the minimal value and the mean value of the current time.
