Research on the algorithms of multi-source remote sensing image fusion

Image fusion is an important aspect of image processing technology.As one of the important aspect of image fusion,multi-source remote sensing image fusion has attracted many attentions in remote sensing field.According to the research of multi-source remote sensing image fusion technology,the paper summarizes the conception of remote sensing image fusion.From the beginning of the principle of the algorithms,it also researches and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the algorithms of multi-source remote sensing image fusion,such as IHS transform method,Brovey transform method,principal component analysis method,wavelet transform method,etc;and discusses assessment index of remote sensing image fusion.Finally,it indicates the development direction of remote sensing image fusion.The paper provides consultation and reference for future research.
