The PIC Simulation of the Space Charge Wave in Plasmas

Space charge wave,which has direct effect on the physical process among plasmas,is one of the basic waves in plasmas.The two-dimensional electrostatic Particle-In-Cell(PIC) simulation program with periodic boundary condition is performed to make numerical simulation of the production and diffusion of space charge wave.The relations between the diffusion characteristics of the space charge wave in one-dimensional stationary drifting plasmas and plasma parameters are given.By using the single-electron tracking method,variation of the space states of charged particles in plasmas is obtained.The results will be the basis of further simulations for the wave-wave interaction process between space charge wave and electromagnetic wave.
