With the development in experimental geochemistry, researchers pay more and more attention to element partition coefficient between silicate solid/liquid coexisting system People have done much work in this aspect and attained many important results since 1970This paper summarized the literature in this subject in the late 30 years, and discussed element partition behavior between the solid/liquid phases from the following aspects: the composition of the solid phase, the physical and chemical characters of the metal elements, and the cation and anion composition of the liquid phase Some important questions have been put forward in the research at present It will be useful for future research work
