STUDY OF LOAD-BEARING STRATUM USING ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVE COMPUTERIZED TOMOGRAPHY IN KARST REGIONS

The covered karst is potential dangers to construction engineering. Following a discussion on weakness of general drilling or geophysical methods for load-bearing stratum in karst region, this paper introduces the application of electromagnetic wave computerized tomography in load-bearing stratum detecting and analysis. The engineering demonstrations show that this method has a higher precision and can be used to gain a better effect.
