Characteristic of daily variation for the geomagnetic Z-component in Mengcheng Seismic Station

In this paper, using geomagnetic Z-component data in Mengcheng Seismic Station nearly 20 years, we analyzed the amplitude and low-point time of magnetically quiet day and the amplitude of magnetically disturbed day′s annual variation and long-term changes. The results showed that the characteristic of daily variation of Z-component obviously, so we can summarize some basic characteristics of changes in the geomagnetic Z-component. In the paper, certain value for reference to recognition interference and abnormal of the geomagnetic field is presented.
