Research on earthquake cases based on underground fluid in the Qilian-West Qinling seismic belt

In this study, we attempt to statistically investigate and analyze the precursory characteristics of underground fluid base on researches of earthquake cases associated with underground fluid of the Qilian-West Qinling seismic belt from the year 1980 to 2010. The results reveal that the earthquake precursors are mainly high values, chemical amounts, and middle-term anomalies, which are retrieved from raw time series records. Meanwhile, statistical results of precursory time of underground fluid show that precursory time scale are negatively related to epicentral distance, namely precursors always firstly occurred at geodynamic observatories which are closest to the epicenters.
