METHOD OF MECHANICAL PARAMETER CHOOSE ON SLIP BAND SOIL & ITS STABILITY ANALYSIS FOR THE BADI LANDSLIDE

One of important question for landslide stability computation is to choose shear strength values of the slip band soil,but it is very difficult to obtain original slip band soil by routine methods such as exploratory borings and tunnel because the soil is often loose.There is some relationship between physical properties and shear strength index of soil by theory,that is to say,corresponding relationship exists between shear strength parameter and moisture capacity void rate when soil clay grains content and clay mineral are same or corresponding.Under the condition of few exploratory data and difficultly obtaining original soil samples,the paper first acquires the base physical index value by exploration and test according to above train of thoughts and by slip band soil re-shape test,then sets up relevant function of compression stress-void rate,thirdly computes normal stress by gravity on slip band,fourthly makes certain corresponding moisture capacity of soil by normal stress,fifthly makes certain shear strength parameter by moisture capacity,and finally computes landslide stability by Transmission Coefficient Method,Mogenstan Method and Finite Element Method.
