EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON STRENGTH BEHAVIOR OF JOINTED ROCK MASS UNDER THE UNLOADING STATE

There is essential difference between the mechanical condition of unloading engineering rock mass and loading engineering rock mass.Currently the research of rock unloading strength characteristic sees more and much,but unloading strength characteristic of jointed rock mass,especially the influence of structural plane to unloading strength is in really seldom seen.this paper studied the destroy characteristics of unloading rock mass,the influence of structural plane properties to unloading strength based on model test are considered emphatically.Finally this paper proposed the strength criterion of unloading rock mass and proved through comparing.
