AN ANALYSIS WITH THREE-DIMENSIONAL FINITE ELEMENT METHOD FOR HIGH SLOPE STABILITY TO KAIYUAN ROAD

Instability analysis for deep cutting slope structure of Kaiyuan Road in Xuejiawan City is carried out by MIDAS/GTS finite element method.The MIDAS/GTS FEM is adopted to analyze the construction process and slope stability.The deformation in different conditions and safety factor after the completion are obtained through three-dimensional numerical simulations.At the same time,the calculation results of GTS FEM are close to the result of the actual project.Some useful conclusions are obtained and suggestions are proposed.
