The Development of Ultrasonic Measurement System Using Capacitive Transducer

Liu Zhenqing; Wei Moan(Institute of Acoustics, Tongji University, P.R.China)  
We describe a new ultrasonic sensing technique which uses broadband and noncontact capacitive transducer to generate or receive ultrasonic waves. The principle and construction of the transducer are briefly presented and the working principle,design of the system as well as the main generator and detector circuit are introduced in the paper. With this system,the laser generated elastic transient waves can also be detected.
