Simulated Study on the Gear Gap Non-linear Dynamics Based on MATLAB

Gear drive is widely used in the radar antenna pedestal transmission system.At present it is developing toward high speed,low noise,the light weight and high precision.This article focuses at the radar antenna pedestal gear drive system characteristics,and establishes a gear clearance non-linearity single degree of freedom mathematical model,taking its last pair of involute spur gear as the object of study,carried out the numerical simulation and solution using MATLAB/Simulink to the gear gap non-linear dynamics model,it also studied system non-linear dynamics response characteristics for the different gear gap and provided a theoretical basis for designing reasonable gear gap in the future engineering practice.
