ESR DATING OF QUARTZ IN FLUVIAL SEDIMENTS

The buried ages of fluvial sediments were determined by application of the ESR technique to the Ge centers of quartz in them. The ESR ages obtained from Ge centers are consistent with TL ages, their horizons,and the geological background. In this paper,determination of the total dose of natural radiation (TD) and the reliability of ESR age are also discussed.
