ORE-FORMING CONDITION AND GENETIC ANALYSIS ON THE GOLD DEPOSIT IN DAYAOSHAN REGION,EASTERN GUANGXI

Dayaoshan region is one of the most important gold-producing areas in Eastern Guangxi, where more than 200 gold deposits(or spots) have been found, the larger ones being Liuqin, Taohua and Gupao deposits. The gold deposits mainly occure in Cambrian C-bearing epimetamorphic clastic rocks characterized by turbidity current deposit, and are obviously controlled by stratigraphic characters and fractured fault zone. Magmatic intrusion in the study area is relatively weaker, where only Caledonian,Yanshanian and Himalayan intermediate-acidic small typhons and dikes are found. Besides a little gold mineralization or gold body in the fractured zones of Caledonian granodiorite-porphyry, there are not obvious gold mineralization in the other epoch bodies.The mineralization types mainly are silicified quartz reef-type and silicified shattered zone-altered rock-type. The preliminary investigation shows that gold mineralization in this region is chiefly related to the stratigraphic formation and that mineralization materials are derived from the strata. Therefore,it should belong to the fractured zone-altered rock-type gold deposit changed by the underground-water hydrothermal solution.
