Application and Prospects of Microbiological Technology on Mineral Exploration and Metallurgical Processing

This paper summarizes the recent developments of the application of microbiological techniques in mineral exploration and metallurgical processing,discusses with emphasis,some techniques in molecular biology such as the nucleic sequence analysis, gene probe and gene recombination of promising future in geological sciences.Also,it reviews the application prospects of molecular identification and gene probe in gold exploration,and plasmasol or gene engineering bacteria on metallurgy.
