OVERVIEW OF GEO DATA FUSION TECHNIQUE

Data from geoscience study is a typical kind of spatial data.Usually,they have different sources,variant formats and metric units.How to use these data corporately in order to obtain more accurate and reliable results is one of the key problems in the geo information processing.This paper introduces the conception and theory of data fusion to the geo data processing.Based on the analysis of the characteristics of geo data,the authors provide a general scheme for the geo data fusion,as well as explaining the features,the preferred method and some problems which should be paid special attention in the procedure of geo data processing.
