The Origin of Clastic Type Ores of the Dongshengmiao Polymetallic Sulfide Deposit, Inner Mongolia

Xia Xuehui Zhao Xiao
Of the ore types in the Dongshengmiao polymetallic sulfide deposit, the clastic type is an important one of them. The ores are mainly composed of elastics of sedimentary rocks (having same compositions as ore-bearing formation) and sulfide. The elastics fragmented in the basin were transported, cemented and formed ores of a peculiar type with both sedimentary and hydrothermal features. In this paper the composition, texture and origin of the ores are discussed.
