GEOCHEMISTRY OF REE OF FLUORITE DEPOSITS AND PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF FLUORITE MINERAL IN CHINA

Fluorite deposits in China have been divided into three types and enriched in granites,volcanic and sedimentary rocks respectively. The REE abundance of fluorite decrease in the order of granite,volcanic rocks and sedimentary rocks, but LREE/HREE ratios of fluorite increase in the order of above mentioned rocks. The REE distribution is similar to that of the wall rocks. In the diagram of Moller,the three types of fluorite are located in different sections,showing that fluorite in epigenetic hydrothermal deposit is only related to the lithological properties of the wall rocks. In the diagrams of Moller,Bar-bier and Allegree,fluorite in all sedimentary rocks are located in the sedimentary scope in the world,showing that mineralization of fluorite deposit is closely related to the sedimentation. Different REE abundance in three types of fluorite has caused different Raman spectrum,TL curves and cathodoluminescent spectrum.
