GEOLOGY AND PROSPECTING OF JILONGSHAN GOLD-COPPER DEPOSIT IN THE EASTERN HUBEI PROVINCE

Jilongshan gold-copper deposit is a large scale of ore deposit and represents a Au-Cu paragenetic type in the mineralizing belt of lower Yangtze.Mineralization is jointly controlled by strata,magma and structure.An NNW-striking tenso-shear fault activated multiply during mineralization,and provided the conditions for obvious overlaying and enriching mineralization.Industrial ore bodies mainly occur in the contact zones between rock mass and the fifth and sixth parts of Daye group.Based on summary of ore-controlling factors,prognosis is discussed and prospecting targets are pointed in the depth and periphery in the mining area.
