THE THERMAL KINETIC MODELS OF KEROGEN TO OIL AND KEROGEN TO GAS AS WELL AS ITS CALIBRATION

Lu Shuangfang; Fu Xiaotai;Wang Zhengping; Qu Jiayan(Daqing Petroleum Institute,Anda, 151400)
Being a method of describing dynamically the history of hydrocarbon genera non, although the method of chemical kinetic model of hydrocarbon generationfrom organic matter is more reliable theoretically than other ones, very few successful examples have been practically reported, and so far the application has beenlimited. Analysis indicates that there are three main causes for the situation. Thefirst one is that never before have the kinetical process of organic matter to oiland organic matter to gas, which ought to have remarkable difference each other, been inspected respectively. This results in the chemical kinetic method which is practicable theoretically of describing histroy of hydrocarbon generation can not beused to evaluate the process of kerogen to oil and kerogen to gas respectively. Therefore, making use of the analytical technology of pyrolysis and PY-GC,we constructed the kinetic models of kerogen to oil and kerogen to gas respectivelyin this paper. The second reason is that the models selected is worth of considering and improving. After comparing the retionality, adaptability and practicalityof various models reported, we select the model of parallel first order reaction(each reaction has different pre-exponential factor) as the basis of furtherstudying. The third one has something to do with the calibrated accuracy of themodels, this, in turn, is depend on the mathematical optimum algorithm selectedand its computer realizing. The validity of the models and its application prospect have been tested tentatively by the good consistency between the experimentdata and the corresponding theoretical values calculated from the models which areobtained after studying deeply in the light of 3 factors mentioned above. The practical effect of application of the models in Huhehu depression, Hailar Basin, willbe reported late.
