Simple Method of Improving the Differential Frequency Using D Flip-Flop

A simple of improving the differential frequency by D flip-flop is introduced. The method is verified by timing analysis. Numberical application conditions are given out. The reason for the error production is analyzed and the maximum error range are calculated. At the same time, a relation to extend the application range is obitained and the method is made to be valid even if the input square wave is not symmetrical. Simulation results agree with the experiments. Finally, a frequency detection of a humidity sensor output with this D flip-flop differential frequency method is presented.
