MATLAB Analysis and Computation of OLED Space Charge Limited Current Models

The MATLAB analysis and computation methods for space charge limited current model(SCLC) of organic light emitting diode(OLED) are presented.The SCLC model may appear in the form of linear or non-linear differential equations,and it can be formulated as a matrix equation by finite difference approximations after dividing the space between anode and cathode into a series of discrete nodes.The numerical solution can be obtained by calling matrix left division command in MATLAB only once for linear SCLC model.And for non-linear SCLC model,its numerical solution can be given by matrix iteration with Newton method.The techniques to determine the electric field function is introduced.The MATLAB programs used in the paper are listed.The scheme is simple in concept,convenient in operation and can be used to solve the SCLC model of OLEDs without more efforts in programming.
