Mineral Analysis Technology Application with Near Infrared Spectroscopy in Identifying Alteration Mineral

In these years, near infrared reflectance spectroscopy in measure has gotten great progress in our country. It has been applied to many fields such as agriculture, chemistryindustry, geology, curative measure and so on. Monomineralic mineral in lamination silicate (eg. clayey mineral, chlorite, serpentine and so on), silicate mineral containing hydroxyl, sulfate mineral, carbonate mineral and different crystallinity of its mineral can be distinguished from using near infrared reflectance spectroscopy sensitivity to CH (methyl, methylene, methoxyl group, carboxyl and aryl), hydroxy OH, hydrosulfide group SH and amino group NH. Using this theory, it makes developing portable spectrometer with near infrared reflectance and its quick, accurate identification rock specimen to come true. In this paper, near infrared reflectance spectroscopy characteristic of low temperature Alteration Mineral, identification method and quantitative analysis are described. Also, principle and index of portable spectrometer with near infrared reflectance are explained. Last, how to build geology model by drill, exploratory trench and section sample data is recommended using mineral characteristic peak. Then, people sum up metallogenetic regularity and guide how to seek for metallogenetic area.
