STATE AND PROGRESSION OF JAPANESE SEA BASE SEISMIC OBSERVATION

Three ocean bottom seismometer observation systems of Japan from 1970's to 1990's first and a survey of the observation network constructed by Japan goverment with a great asset after the Osaka Kobe earthquake in 1995 are introduced in detail. Its existed problems and the imagination of ocean bottom research in future have been proposed.
