Method and Analysis of Ground Stress Measurement of Underground Tunnel in High and Steep Mountainous Area——Taking Dahongshan Iron Mine Tunnel as an Example

Ground stress is a basic parameter to the stability of surrounding rocks and the design of sup- porting structure of underground projects,there are many kinds of methods available for ground stress measurement at present.The stress relaxation method,suitable for rapid measurement in underground tunnel,is introduced in detail in this paper,and the technical procedure and the results of ground stress measurement in Dahongshan Iron Mine mining area are presented as well.Based on the analysis of regional geology,the hollow inclusion stress measurement method was used in this mining area.Through the mea- surement and the multi-variable regression analysis,3-D stress states at 6 points on 4 levels and modes of stress distribution at deep position of Dahongshan Iron Mine mining area are obtained after the initial in- situ stress field was analyzed.These measurement results will provide a basis for the engineering design and the stability analysis and pave a way for further research on rock mass stress state and stress field in the mining area.
