Study on Furnace Flame Monitoring & Combustion Diagnosis Based on Improved Colorimetric Temperature-Measurement Method

SUN Xuan, XU Xiang-dong  
An economic and practical approach to Flame Monitoring and Diagnosis based on improved colorimetric temperature-measurement method is presented. The system configuration, operating principle and measurement theory are introduced and discussed. The field test results of digital image processing and combustion diagnosis prove this approach is suitable for small and medium pulverized-coal boiler flame monitoring system reformation. Further improvements are suggested at the end of this paper.
