Improvement to Two-color Temperature Measurement based on Flame Image Processing Method

LIN Bin, MA Zeng-yi, WANG Fei, et al.  
A method using color CCD directly to measure flame temperature distribution without reference points is applied. It can eliminate the effect made by the difference of flame gray at different wavelength. It is based on an improved two-color method. In addition, the system composition is given. Results of experiments on coal furnace indicate that the method is provided with efficient precision, it is simple and reliable to measure temperature in furnace, and it is applicable to calculate the distribution of temperature and diagnose combustion.
