Failure Analysis and Improving Measures of Seal Plate of Conical Sealing Stop Valve

The conical sealing stop valve抯 leakage and its seal plate lost effect due to cavitation and insufficiency of the design. It puts forward the improving measures by gas-phase sedimentation techniques to the seal plate of the valve gag, heightened the seal plate's oxidation resistance, fray resistance and anti-cavitation erosion effectively. Making the valve bowl larger and reducing the flow resistance will decrease the cavitations, reducing the angle of the valve gag conical side and moving forward the centroid, shorting the initial deflection angle to make the axis of the valve gag and the valve stem superposition so that to strengthen the sealing ability of the stop valve. It also approach theoretically to change the conical valve gag into globe valve gag to raise the stability of the seal plate.
