Study on Numerical Simulation of a 1025t/h Tangential Boiler With Reverse-tangent and Swirling Elimination

By using numerical simulation program reverse-tangent cases at tertiary air and OFA were performed to reduce the thermal deviation at the furnace exit.Results show that the revolution of in-furnace flow field is weakened and the relative diameter of the tangential circle decreased because of the reverse-tangent of tertiary air and OFA,it has a little influence on the aerodynamic structure.Reverse reduces the residual rotation at the entrance of horizontal flue and makes the fuel gas distribute homogeneous.Left and right side of the difference in temperature is decreased at the entrance of horizontal flue.Reverse-tangent at tertiary air and OFA can reduce the thermal deviation in the horizontal flue effectually and ensure the boiler can run stably and safely.
