Discrimination Entropy Loss in Radar Signal Detection Systems

Lu Lingen(Beijing Institute of Radio Measurement).  
The concept of discrimination entropy in signal detection system is introduced in this paper. The entropy and its loss of some signal detectors are computed. The optimum detectors in sense of Neyman-Pearson are the detectors which have minimum entropy loss. Some useful conclusions are given.
