Random Parameters Pulse Train Detector for High Range Resolution Radar

By treating time domain separated echoes,caused by the scatters on the target,as a pulse train with random parameters,a new detection method is proposed for high resolution radar target detection based on the theory of optimum detection and the characteristic of target's echoes in a high-range-resolution radar.Computer simulation shows that the new method has at least 2dB improvement in detection performance compared with the traditional detection method.
