Electromagnetic Simulation of a 35GHz,TE021 Gyroklystron

The theoretical analysis and PIC simulation of a new kind of 35GHz gyroklystro n is presented.This gyroklystron has all stages operate at the second harmonic t o avoid the use of cryomagnets or heavy and bulky solenoids,and its three cavit y's structure can greatly enhance its gain.PIC method is used to simulate this gyroklystron,the results shows that this gyroklystron can produce an output pea k power of 249kW with 22.5dB gain and 23.71% maximum efficiency at 35GHz.
