EFFECT OF THE LOW RESISTANCE HETEROGENEOUSBODIES ON THE APPARENT RESISTIVITY CLOSE TOTHE BOUNDARY UNDER MEDIA CONDITIONS INTHE HOMOGENEOUS INFINITIVE HALF SPACE

Through the experiments carried out in a comparatively big water trough, this paper presents the spatial (plane) distribution regularities of influences of the low resistance linear heterogeneous bodies which affects measured values of the close-boundary apparent resistivity ρs under media conditions in the hemogeneous infinitive half space as well as the influence regularities on the ρs values resulted from the parameter variations of the heterogeneous bodies themselves. The authors also present the result of comparison measurements of the ps values for the same heterogeneous bodies yet under different media conditions.On the basis of the above-mentioned studies, the paper analyzes the differences to respond to the same low resistance noise-producing materials observed at geoelectricity observatories having different site conditions. The paper also provides the qualitative as well as the quantitative analysis of noises due to pipe lines under the observatories analogous to the experimental conditions and finally, the maximum range of the affected areas with the limitation of Δρs/ρs5‰.
