Wu Gang (Centre of Analysis and Prediction, SSB,Beijing 100036)
Based on the data of gravity anomaly and acromagnetic anomaly, the deep structure and its relation to earthquake activity are discussed in this paper. It is believed that the Longmenshan nappe structure belt is consisted of three sections (Luding-Guanxian, Guanxian-Beichuan and Beichuan-Guangyuan), and a concealed nappe structure is existed along the line of Xiaojing, Diexi and Songpan in the western area of Longmenshan mountain, where the moderate earthquakes would frequently occur in future.
