Distance of the Daliushu Dam,Heishanxia,the Yellow River Evading Active Fault F_(201)

The Daliushu A-class water and electricity project is planning to be built at Daliushu, Heishanxia of the Yellow River. In order to find the distance of the dam evading the active fault F_ 201 , we used the width data of the short axes of intensity Ⅸ isoseismal on the strike-slip and reverse strike-slip active faults, the structure situations of which are similar to the F_ 201 , to make a statistic analysis. It is concluded that the evaded distance of the active fault is about 6-6.4 km. Based on the geological-seismic field investigation, the distance from the Daliushu Dam to the F_ 201 is only 1.5 km, and it is on the hanging wall of the fault F_ 201 , so it is a dangerous site for the Daliushu high dam.
