CHANGES OF RESPONSE OF WATER LEVEL IN WELL NO.HENAN 01 TO BAROMETRIC PRESSURE AND EARTH TIDE BEFORE HEZE M=5.9 EARTHQUAKE

A new method for processing well water level has been proposed in this paper.With the lag influence of response of water level to barometric pressure and earth tide taken into consideration,using Doodsoon's tidal expansion and Taylor's expansion of progression,the calculation formulas of the tidal and barometric coefficients of water lvevel and their lag time have been deduced and the corrected formulas of water level,pressure and earth tide with consideration of lag influence has also been presented.The daily coefficients of water level,earth tide and pressure and their lag time have been calculated using the new method to process the data observed in 1983 at well No. Henan 01.The above 4 coefficients show great changes before,during and after Heze M=5.9 earthquake on Nov.7,1983. Water level and pressure coefficient on Sept.9 and Nov.2 changed decreasingly and increased greatly on Nov.20 after the earthquake.Lag time of response of water level to pressure obviously reduced on Sept.23,the tidal coefficients of water level increased in a big amplitude on Nov.2 and decreased on Nov. 7-8.This method has provided a new way for analysing precursors.
