Configuration and Data Management of Nuclear Power Digital Design System

Collaborative design on a single and unified data source is the kernel of digital design system. In nuclear power design,the predominant 3 D-model-based product design and plant layout environment could not cover other areas such as system design,simulation and analysis, and data management. Hence, after studying the top level requirements, a complete digital design system consisting of "three platforms and one center" is conceived. The three platforms are 3 D plant layout platform, system design collaborative platform, simulation and analysis platform, and the center is data management center. The function features of the three design platforms are described, and the data center is explored in more detail, including its coverage and function, data modeling/organizing/storing/presenting mechanism, data input/quality assurance/output mechanism, data-based project management method, and digital handover. The digital design system with the "three platforms and one center" promotes the transformation and upgrading of nuclear power design.
