multi - epoch gold - bearing formations have been recognized in South china. The original distribution of gold in gold - bearing formation could be characterized by higher content, heterogeneity in vertical and horizontal, and douhie populations - the background and the high value. The distribution and paragenesis of trace elements depends majorly on sedimentation and higher slderophile and chalcophile elements and C, S, P and B occur usually in gold - bearing formations. On the basis of gold - bearing formation and according to the form of later ore - forming energy and gological-geochmical environment of gold deposits, they could be divided into five categories: related to granitoid, volcanic-subvolcanic rocks, hypergenesis, metamorphism, and groundwater or thermal brine.
