CHARACTERISTICS AND MINERALIZATION APPRAISE OF QUARTZ VEINS OF XIAOLIUGOU WOLFRAM DEPOSIT IN GANSU PROVINCE

This article makes a detail describption on characteristics in quartz veins of Xiaoliugou wolfram deposit. After discussing the relationship between quartz veins and wolfram (molybdenum, copper), the author points out that there is a close relationship between molybdenum and copper in quartz veins, and they usually occur together, and their mineralization hardly depend on wall rocks. However, wolfram mineralization in quartz veins mainly depend on wall rocks, and wolfram usually enriches in skarn and hornblende- mica schist. There are lots of NE, NW and EW quartz veins, especially EW quartz veins. And N usually enrichs to ore bodies in skarn and hornblende- mica schist, but hardly enrichs to ore bodies in other wall rocks. So in the future, working on quartz veins should aim at the EW groups, and the other groups is worthless. Because EW quartz veins ore concentrated to three zones, and the other quartz veins distributed dispersedly.
