Study on the process for the combustion of CaAl_2O_4:Eu~(2+),Nd~(3+) fluorescent powder

The fluorescent powder CaAl2O4∶Eu2+,Nd3 has been successively synthesized with the combustion method at lower temperature(600℃) , the influence of the content of the rare-earth ions Eu2+ and Nd3+ and the igniting temperature on the properties of fluorescent powder is invested. The most suitable content of the rare -earth ions and the best synthesizing temperature are determined when fluorescent shines brightly and for a long time. According to the above, the combination of the materials in forward solution for combustion is studied.
