Genetic Molecular Linkage Map Construction and Mapping the Important Quality and Quantitative Trait Loci in Rice(Oryza Sativa L.)

Zhu Lihuang; He Ping(Institute of Genetics, Chinese Academy of Science)  
A high density genetic linkage map comprised of 444 loci was constructed using 132 doubled haploid lines derived from a cross between a indica variety,Zhaiyeqing,and a japonica variety, Jingxi17. The map covered the rice genome of 1 962 cM an average density of less than 5 cM. Interval mapping was performed to locate some important quality and quantitative train loci, such as rice blast resistance, yield, grain quality and anther culturability etc.
