Study on the Character and Trends of Atmospheric CCl_3F and CCl_2FCClF_2 Varying with Latitude in the Northern Hemisphere

YANG Yue 1,CHEN Li min 1,LI Yuan sheng 2,SUN Guo zhong 1 (1. Department of Environmental Science and Engineering, Fudan University, Shanghai 200433, China; 2. Polar Research Institute of China, Shanghai 200129, China)
Intensive samples have been collected from mid latitude to polar region in the Northern Hemisphere from July to September in 1999 cooperating with the Chinese Third Antarctic Inland Ice sheet Traversal Party. The latitudinal characteristic concentrations of CFCs have been obtained after analyzing by using gas chromatography with electronic capture detector. The trends of all the samples have been studied with the geographical location and meteorological condition. The result will help to understand the process of the phase out of halocarbon in both developed and developing countries in the Northern Hemisphere.
